In our latest in our Work in Progress series we are joined by Duncan Molloy, designer for Osprey Games and all round genuinely delighful man.
Richard gets all misty eyed as we dive back into both their childhoods and chat Heroquest, the terror of trying to get a perfect run in Pandemic Legacy, before Duncan becomes the detective and tells us about Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective.
We then have a chat about Osprey Games, including some of the key games in their catalogue before Duncan tells us the tale behind their latest endeavour, rereleasing and updating the classic Escape from Colditz.
It's utterly fascinating and told with a real passion and sincerity.

In another Friends of the Show special we are joined by the very talented award winning and award nominated and videogame writing (but not singing) and all round good person Kate Gray (pronounced Bob). Richard was delighted to be joined by Matt Gilbert, the COO of Mantic Games.
Mantic Games are a UK based boardgame company that have released a popular range of games including Kings of War, The Walking Dead,  Dead Zone, Dreadball, Mars Attack and Dungeon Saga primarily using Kickstarter.
Together they talk about Matt's history of boardgames before discussing the Dungeon Saga Kickstarter campaign, covering what was learned from the challenges they faced and what they have implemented for future Kickstarter projects.
They also chat about plans for the future including the release of a Fighting Fantasy series of books, one of which Matt himself wrote. 
Richard also gets a bit excited at the prospect of Star Saga, the newest IP from the company.

In the second of our Work in Progress Episodes we are Joined by Gary Devereaux and Aidan Lorenzo from Underestimated games.
We discuss their up and coming Kickstarter Skirmish game Purgatory where they give us a run down on how it works and what to expect if you back the campaign. The Campaign will go live on October 10th.
(It looks really rather interesting indeed.)

In the first of a new Series, Work In Progress looks at a new Kickstarter project and chats with its creative team.
Joining us on this episode is Jim Keifer and his daughter Lucy, who will be talking about their Kickstarter for their
moving tile, collaborative tabletop game "Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty's Web"
We are more than aware that we have three people on this episode. We also have a special guest in the form of the gardener operating the leaf blower in the background of Jim's audio, so there the occasional blast of sound in the background. We edited him out where we could, but he still butted in and gave his opinion on Pandemic.
The other thing to note is that part of this episode will potentially send you into some kind of nostalgia based haze and Jim tells us about his history working in the industry. Prepare to either be misty eyed. Or just think whut?
It's nothing short of fascinating.

For our next Friends of the Show Episode, we are joined by Jeremy Greer.
Jeremy runs his own podcast Don't Give Up Skeleton, which is based on the stories of fans of the Dark Souls series of games, as well as co-hosting the Dark Insight Podcast, which is a videogame related podcast.

In our latest Friends of the Show edition, we reach across the pond and have a chat with Jon Gilmour which unearths one of the funniest and interesting stories we've heard about getting into the hobby. We were really pleased he took the time out to talk to us and it's certainly worth a listen.  
Jon, along with Isaac Vega were responsible for the creation of Dead of Winter, a personal favourite of Richard's.
He has been involved in a number of other games which he was happy to talk about as well as telling us what he likes to get to the table.
We talk about Kickstarter and the choices in the route to market and finish up with his latest game in progress, the extremely interesting looking Wasteland Express.

In a first of a series we have the rather wonderful Paddy Stardust on to Co-Host with Richard while Colin is off causing all sorts of mayhem. 
Really grateful for his time and he had plenty to talk about.
For those who aren't aware, Paddy is the one of the hosts of the fantastic Twin Humanities podcast. Along with CJ, they spend their time talking about things related to Dark Souls and on the other side, talk about all things wonderful and interesting in the land of Geek. They are bloody wonderful at it as well. They even have intro music!!
